Fan Favorites Sean Kanan, Daniel Cosgrove & Michael Easton Returning – What’s In Store For Them?

Fan Favorites Sean Kanan, Daniel Cosgrove & Michael Easton Returning - What's In Store For Them?Three actors tremendously popular with fans will be returning to their soaps and has the Internet abuzz with what might be in store for them. But show executives have so far remained tight-lipped about where their stories will lead them.

Sean Kanan (Deacon Sharpe) “The Bold and the Beautiful” (B&B) reappeared on “B&B” last week after an unexplained several-week absence. After a quick scene with his on-screen ex-wife (Quinn Fuller) Rena Sofer, he and his fabulous hair and chiseled features made an abrupt exit. But Soap Central quotes a “B&B” exec as having said, “Deacon…has some amazing story coming up. Tune in or you’re going to miss some great Deacon moments.”

“Days of Our Lives” (DOOL) Aiden Jennings, played by the dimpled and sweet-faced Daniel Cosgrove gained a legion of his own fans and fans of the couple that Days viewers nicknamed Haiden: Hope and Aiden. After writing him as a kind and understanding partner to Hope Brady, show writers baffled viewers by having him try to kill her. Bo Brady walked in on the attempted crime and killed Aiden in time to save Hope. “DOOL” super-fan and active poster to Facebook group Soap Fans United, Karim el-Masri, theorizes he will either come back as Aiden, having been saved by Stefano’s reanimating-the-dead technology, or as a Aiden’s ghost to counsel his troubled son, Chase.

And then there’s that husky voice and those baby blues: Michael Easton! “General Hospital” (GH) Executive Producer, Frank Valentini, posted a tongue-in-cheek video online about his return to the show. Silas Clay, whom he portrayed on “General Hospital” died late last summer when Madeleine Reeves left a meat cleaver in his back. The Internet erupted with fan complaints that Easton’s considerable talent had never been used properly. Show execs have insisted Easton will not return as Silas, back from the dead, and so the announcement of his return has prompted many theories? Could he play Hayden/Rachel’s ex-husband; the other GH character he briefly played, Stephen Clay, Silas’ idental twin, who fancied himself a vampire; Silas and Stephen’s identical triplet brother or another character altogether?

As executives at all three shows along with Kanan, Cosgrove, and Easton remain silent on what their much-celebrated returns will involve, fans will simply have to wait and see. But isn’t the sweet torture of the suspense of their storylines part of what we love about soaps?

I sure hope the character of Deacon can bring down whyatts crazy, sickening mothe ,and reunite with the Brook character; he seems to be the best, most interesting partner for her.
