‘Days of Our Lives’ Spoilers Wedesday August 31: Abigail’s Loved Ones Say Their Goodbyes – Gabi and Sonny Reflect at Will’s Grave – Claire Needs Belle’s Advice

“Days of Our Lives” spoilers for Wednesday, August 31, tease that it’ll be a somber day on the NBC soap. Chad (Billy Flynn) will try to make peace with the fact that Abigail (Kate Mansi) is gone. He’s accepted his loss, but he’s been having trouble coping. Unfortunately, things will get worse before they get better.

Nevertheless, Chad will bid his beloved wife farewell. Actually, several Salemites will say goodbye to Abigail in Wednesday’s DOOL episode. “Days of Our Lives” spoilers indicate that Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) will attempt to let go and move forward. She’ll urge Jack (Matthew Ashford) to take care of their daughter.

Adrienne (Judi Evans), Lucas (Bryan Dattilo), Doug (Bill Hayes) and Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will all be on hand to help Jennifer stay strong. They’ll gather at Jen’s house to discuss memories of Abigail and look to the future. Jennifer needs to lean on her family and friends for support instead of her trusty pills.

Elsewhere, Sonny (Freddie Smith) and Gabi (Camila Banus) will remember another lost loved one. “Days” spoilers say they’ll stop by Will’s (Guy Wilson) grave and reflect on how their lives have changed since his passing. It hasn’t been easy for Sonny to press on, but he’s making it.

Gabi has also felt a tremendous loss. She hates that Arianna (Harper and Sydnee Udell) won’t ever really know her father. Gabi lost a dear friend, too. Sonny and Gabi will just have to keep giving Ari their love. They can continue to share details about Will and the life he lived.

Other “Days of Our Lives” spoilers reveal that Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) will turn to her mother for advice. Claire is quite interested in Theo (Kyler Pettis), but he’s obviously hung up on Ciara (Vivian Jovanni). It seems Claire will have to decide if she should back off or fight for what she wants.

If Claire chooses to hang in there and go for it, she’ll probably be facing a tough battle. Regardless, Claire will need Belle’s (Martha Madison) guidance as she tries to make sense of all this. Later, Claire will bump into Theo and Ciara. She won’t be pleased to find them attached at the hip again.
