‘Days Of Our Lives’ News: Paige Searcy Out at DOOL, Recast Coming Or Jade Leaving Salem?

DOOL spoilers tease there’s about to be a major departure from, “Days of Our Life,” in 2017! In fact, make that two quick exits from the legendary soap if the vixen in question is indeed pregnant!

Jason 47  is reporting that Paige Searcy is taking her divisive character, Jade Michaels, out of Salem as soon as the New Year rolls around. If that’s the case, Searcy will have been on the show for roughly a year.

Of course, there is a possibility that DOOL chose to go in a different direction and fired Paige and recast the role of Jade.

In that short amount of time Jade has gleefully made life a living Hades for her boyfriend Joey (James Lastovic) and his parents (online message boards indicated that “Days” fans weren’t overly fond of the character, either).

It’s hard to be sympathetic toward Jade when every action she takes seems designed to alienate the family she so desperately wants to join. After being asked to keep her pregnancy on the down low, Jade chose to act out like a spoiled brat.

Instead of respecting everyone’s privacy, Jade chose an intimate Thanksgiving celebration to drop her baby bombshell on a shocked gathering. Crickets!

It’s impossible to know if Jade is telling the truth about being in a family way since it’s too early for her to be showing. Plus, the homeless waif has a reputation as a liar and a thief. It’s entirely possible that Jade is pulling a con, something her potential mom-in-law is convinced of!

After gobbling up the turkey, and killing the party atmosphere, Jade announced that she’s having trouble getting a good night’s sleep on her friend’s couch. Joey’s mom was all sympathy when she suggested that Jade find a better position!

But in the end Jade got her way, and scored the spare bedroom in her boyfriend’s house. Stay tuned, “Days,” fans, it looks like there’s going to be a whole of commotion in the Johnson house as the year winds down!
