‘Days of Our Lives’ News: Guy Wilson – Former DOOL Will Horton – Stars In New Movie “Sunflower”

“Days of Our Lives” fans will soon get to see Guy Wilson [ex-Will Horton] as Detective Bailey in the new movie “Sunflower.” No release date has been set just yet, but the film is expected to be released in 2016 – right now it is in post-production.

Directed by Mat Shapira, who co-wrote the screenplay with Hutch Dano, “Sunflower” follows the disappearance of author George Boulangé. Detective Kenny Park, portrayed by Reggie Lee [Sgt. Wu, “Grimm], is assigned to find out what happened the night Boulangé went missing from his sailboat.

Described as a thriller, the storyline of “Sunflower” is mysterious and will make you wonder if there was a murder or if George Boulangé caused his own disappearance in order to escape the chaos of his life or to create a plot for his new novel.

The cast of “Sunflower” includes British actor Matthew Marsden [Chris Collins, “Coronation Street”] as George. Theatrically trained actress Cortney Palm was chosen to portray George’s wife Isabelle. London born actress Jemma Dallender stars as George’s girlfriend Cecile.

What can “DAYS” fans expect from the suspense thriller? The synopsis of the film tells us that George’s wife Isabelle wants to bring a beautiful waitress named Cecile on their weekend boating trip. But the author’s motives are entirely selfish – he has his sights set on Cecile and plans to leave Isabelle for the young woman.
