‘Days Of Our Lives’ News: First Look At Abigail Deveraux Recast Marci Miller Filming With Billy Flynn – ‘Chabby’ Is Back!

“Days of Our Lives” fans, the moment we’ve been waiting for is here! Check out Marci Miller as the new Abigail DiMera in this NBC DAYS Instagram pic.

“I don’t know who this is. Maybe a fan that snuck on set. She was escorted away shortly after this photo,” teases @inlikebillyflynn #DAYS.

The petite and pretty actress is seen shaking hands with Billy Flynn (Chad DiMera), who’s pointing at her seeming to ask, “Who’s this?” Seriously, the couple looks hot together, and fans have definitely noticed.

“Yes they do look great together!!!,” “ Can’t wait for him to see her again,” “Excited for Marci. Billy and Marci look great together!” ”Can’t wait to see the chemistry between u two,” is a small sample of the love coming from DAYS fans.

Abigail Deveraux DiMera is a legacy character and fan favorite. Kate Mansi portrayed the character from 2011 until her departure this year. It made sense that the actress selected to replace her had to be chosen carefully and with great sensitivity in regard to the fans’ emotional investment in the character. The search for a replacement Abby took months. One fan summed up the Abby-less period writing, “Can’t wait until she debuts they need to get on with this storyline I’m dying over here lol.”

After the casting announcement broke, Marci took to Instagram to introduce herself to Days fans. “So grateful for your LOVE and PATIENCE as I take this very big, very scary and very exciting step! @katemansi has laid a beautiful foundation …Truly a joy to get to be a part of this family. Much love. Xx”

Aw, I love her already! And apparently DAYS fans do as well, the NBCDAYS pic has over 2,500 likes: “CHABBY! I’m soooo flippin happy right now!” enthused one fan.

Yes, DAYS fans, NBC’s Olympic coverage/two week DAYS withdrawal is over and to make up for it we’re about to be rewarded with the return of one very beloved Salemite!
