‘Days Of Our Lives’ News: ‘DOOL’ Alum Peter Reckell Teases Exciting New Gig

‘Days of Our Lives’ alum Peter Reckell [Ex-Bo Brady] reportedly has a new project underway. Reckell, who exited the soap opera last year, tweeted to alert fans of what’s going on for him. “I once again have a project in the works! I should know if it’s happening next week. It’s not the one I talked about before but it will fun!!” he tweeted.

According to him this is no way related to any of the projects he has been teasing about before. But at this point, it seems as if he is not at liberty to share much detail about the upcoming project. His tweet indicates that he has not officially begun work for his new gig yet but should know exactly what will be taking place in the coming week.

So what could this new gig be? Could it be another daytime soap opera gig, a guest appearance or series regular role on a primetime series or a role in a new film? We await more information and as soon as it becomes available, Soap Opera Spy will let you know more about Reckell’s new gig.

Reckell spent a large part of his life being a part of one of daytime’s most significant and popular daytime super couple – ‘bope’ [Bo and Hope (Kristian Alfonso)]. After exiting ‘Days of Our Lives’ for a lengthy period he made a brief return as Bo only to be killed off during the show’s 50th anniversary episodes.

Reckell also made a brief return to the NBC soap opera this year. In the month of June there was a Hope centered episode in which Peter Reckell’s Bo made appearances. Overall Reckell made two appearances in Hope’s dreams to which he describes his return as fun. “It was fun coming back. Being dead, I didn’t have the angst of living people and pointing Hope in the right direction, felt like old times,” he tweeted in light of his short return.
