‘Days Of Our Lives’ News: Casting Call Goes Out For Abigail Deveraux – Kate Mansi Recast Made Official

 ‘Days Of Our Lives’ spoilers tease that the NBC soap opera is recasting the role of Abigail Deveraux after Kate Mansi’s exit.  Since it was confirmed that Mansi was leaving ‘Days Of Our Lives,‘ the fate of her character Abigail has been up in the air.  Rumors have been floating around that the character could be recast – or could be leaving Salem for good, in a body bag, or in a straight jacket after another run-in with crazy Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson).

Now, ‘DOOL’ spoilers have officially confirmed that the soap opera will be recasting the role of Kate Mansi’s character – and they have put out an official casting call for Abigail Deveraux.  Courtesy of Soap Opera Digest the casting call reads, “Abigail looks innocent and young but can often seems more mature in essence than her 26 years because of the difficulties she’s experienced.  She’s made plenty of mistakes in her life, but she tries to learn from them and has compassion for others. She’s fiercely loyal and protective of her family, and she has a spark and youthful joy that endears her to everyone she meets.”
