‘Days of Our Lives’ News: Billy Flynn Off to Film New Movie ‘D.O.A. Blood River’

Days of Our Lives fans don’t need to get too upset, as we learn that Billy Flynn who has portrayed Chad DiMera since 2014, will not be missing in action for long.  He has taken an extended holiday, and is off to film scenes in his new role in D.O.A. Blood River in Louisiana. 

D.O.A. Blood River will be a remake of the 1950’s thriller created by Rudolph Mate.  At this point, it has not been confirmed what role he will be playing, but the movie is about a man named Sam Collins who is a travelling salesman, who goes from California to Louisiana to make the deal of a lifetime.

The deal is made with a doctor named Dr. Alexander who supposedly works with creating vaccines; but   it appears to be one of those “too good to be true” storylines.

Billy Flynn will be working alongside D. B. Sweeney, who is well-known for his role of Larry on Two and a Half Me,  and films like Taken 2 and Heist.  Another actor we know will be part of this production is Chris Mulkey, known for his roles in First Blood, Whiplash and Captain Phillips with Tom Hanks.  D.O.A. Blood River 2017 screenplay has been written and is being directed by Stephen C. Sepher, and will be a film well worth watching.

As for Days of Our Lives fans, who is excited to see Chad DiMera back in Salem?  Do you think JJ (Casey Moss) should keep Abby’s (Marci Miller) secret, which may cause him to lose Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) for good to Chad, or should he reveal that his sister is alive and back in town and reunite with Chad and her son Thomas; either way, there are some exciting times ahead for Billy Flynn on and off screen.
