“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday, November 5, tease that Ashley (Eileen Davidson) will make a bold confession. Adam (Justin Hartley) will make a stunning rescue as the roof of the building begins to cave in. Meanwhile, we’ll learn that Patty (Stacy Haiduk) is still alive and she could be starting a bit of a partnership with Ian (Ray Wise).
At the hospital, Sage (Kelly Sullivan) feels guilty about leaving Christian and begins crying hysterically. Nick (Joshua Morrow) tries to console Sage while the nurse finds someone to talk to them. Later, Sage and Nick demand to see Christian’s body, but a social worker replies that they should cling to the memory of Christian when he was alive. Sage wants to see Christian anyway, but she eventually decides it would be too painful.
In another area, everyone tries to sort out the chaos of the big fire. Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) asks Victor (Eric Braeden) about Adam. Victor says Adam stayed behind to help. Victoria (Amelia Heinle) wants to know about Abby (Melissa Ordway), Stitch (Sean Carrigan) and Ashley. Victor starts ranting about Joe (Scott Elrod) taking Abby’s spot on the helicopter. Dylan (Steve Burton) arrives and tells Lily (Christel Khalil) that no one has seen Cane (Daniel Goddard). Joe assures Lily that everything will be OK.
Billy (Burgess Jenkins) gripes about Victor trying to help Adam run. Victor reminds Billy that Adam didn’t go along with the idea. Jack (Peter Bergman) and Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) show up. They let everyone know that Stitch and Ashley are still missing. Jack feels like he could’ve done more to save Patty, but Phyllis tries to put his mind at ease. Paul (Doug Davidson) gives Dylan the news that Patty didn’t survive and insists that it’s too dangerous to go back for anyone else. Victor declares that he’s making another trip and Dylan wants to come along. Paul reluctantly allows it, but he says they can only go to the ballroom.

Billy pipes up that Victor always gets what he wants. Maybe Victor can bring Stitch, Ashley and Abby to safety. Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott) wonders how Billy will feel if Adam is saved, too. Billy says he’s fine with it since he wants Adam to get his punishment. Chelsea overhears their conversation and storms out. Later, Chelsea sees Victor in the lobby of Newman Enterprises and hugs him as she cries.
Other “Young and the Restless” spoilers say Adam is about to become a hero once again. Adam confronts Ian about the disaster he’s caused. Ian hints that this was a team effort. Adam snaps back that he just wanted to bring down Newman Enterprises, not hurt people. Adam suggests that Victor is a far better man than Ian. Ian thinks Victor deserves all of this. Adam tries to grab Ian, but ends up getting knocked to the ground. They scuffle and eventually a wall falls on Ian. Adam quickly makes his exit.
Meanwhile, Abby finds Ashley and Stitch. They’re unconscious, but Abby gets Ashley to wake up. Ashley tells Abby to go get help while she stays with Stitch. Once Abby is gone, Ashley confesses that her hookup with Stitch meant more to her than she let on. Ashley implies that she’s made peace with dying together if this is really the end. Adam meets up with Abby and heads over to help Stitch. Adam picks Stitch up and carries him downstairs. Ashley and Abby follow behind them.
Dylan takes a look at the ballroom, but he doesn’t notice Ian. As Dylan leaves on the helicopter, the roof collapses. Ian calls for help in the rubble. Patty appears and suggests they might be able to help each other. It looks like these two nutjobs may escape death after all. Y&R rumors hint that the fallout of this fire will be just as explosive.
