‘The Young and the Restless’ Spoilers Thursday, August 13: Harding Refuses to Kill Jack, Marco asks Victor for Help – Summer Realizes Harding Killed Austin

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Thursday August 13, 2015 reveal that Detective Harding wants to end his association with Marco but Marco reminds him it is too late for him to get out.  Marco orders Harding to eliminate their problem, Jack Abbott and Harding goes ballistic.  Meanwhile Jack Abbott accuses Adam of being behind the Paragon Project.   Adam tries to convince Chelsea to stay in Paris and start a new life with him and Connor.

The Thursday August 13, 2015 episode of “Y&R” opens with Summer (Hunter King) and Kyle (Lachlan Buchanan) in bed and Summer is having a nightmare about Austin (Matthew Atkinson) being killed. Summer wakes up screaming and Kyle tells her, “It is only a dream.”

Detective Harding (Cris McKenna)drops a brown bag down at a table where Marco(Peter Bergman) is sitting and Marco says, “Where are your manners Detective I am an Abbott and Abbotts are classy people.” Marco dumps the bag contents on the table and cash falls out. Marco tells him he cannot protect himself with a stack of $20s and he wants to know where the gun is.

Harding tells him the money is every dollar he ever paid him he is done and they are even. He tells Marco to get out of town and not to come back. Marco replies, “I cannot leave my wife needs me.” Harding screams, “YOU ARE NOT JACK ABBOTT! Phyllis knows that, you are not conning her again!” Marco replies, “I don’t have to con her I have a very special connection with her. I’ll take care of Red, you get rid of the guy that is wearing my face!”

Back in Chancellor Park Ashley (Eileen Davidson) tells Jack(Peter Bergman) it is a terrible place to meet. Jack tells Ashley that he told Victor (Eric Braeden)that he, Ashley and Jack are not behind the Paragon Project.

Adam (Justin Hartley)breaks open a bottle of champagne he tells Chelsea(Melissa Claire Egan)it is their anniversary it has been 21 hours since they took a photo and asks her if she ever saw a happier family. Chelsea agrees and tells him she wants to enjoy every second. They kiss!

Victor and Nikk(Melody Thomas Scott)i are at the Athletic Club and Victor is ignoring Nikki and reading his email and she is annoyed. Victor tells Nikki he will escort her to Devon’s(Bryton James) wedding but Nikki says she is not going. Nikki says, “Everything Neil (Kristoff St.John) has gone through I cannot do that to Neil. I think Katherine(Jeanne Cooper) would forgive me.”

Meanwhile, over at Devon and Hilary’s (Mishael Morgan) wedding venue Hilary thinks the setting is perfect. The two talk about how happy they are. Hilary tells Devon she believe in “Us.” Devon agrees so does he. Hilary says, “Who says wishes can’t come true.” Neil walks in.

Over at Crimson Lights Mariah(Camryn Grimes) is reading news about Devon and Hilary’s wedding. Kevin(Greg Rikaart) asks Mariah if she believes in true love. Summer and Kyle walk in and Kyle tells Mariah Summer had a dream about the night Austin died. Summer says, “It was not a dream it was a memory.

Harding is pissed he reminds Marco he is a cop, not a hit man, not a hired gun and he is certainly not getting rid of Jack Abbott. Marco tells him to calm down his hands are already dirty. Harding says, “What happened to Austin was an accident.” Marco says, “What happened to Courtney(Kelli Gross) was not an accident.” Harding is furious and replies, “Don’t talk about her she was a good cop!”

Marco says, “Things happen and we just need things to happen to Jack Abbott.” Harding tells him it is not a drug cartel and he should take the money and go far away. Marco is mad now and furiously says to Harding, “I am not going anywhere you WILL fix our problem or you will be the one who is erased!”

Jack thinks Victor is making excuses for his behavior but Phyllis(Gina Tognoni) is convinced Victor is worried and says she believes that the person behind Paragon is ruthless and she asks Jack, “What about Gabriel Bingham(Justin Hartley)?”

Back in Paris Adam shows Chelsea a house that is for sale in Paris and Chelsea tells him, “You cannot do this it is not fair. I agreed to one week it is too late for anything else.” Adam says he is not giving her up without a fight they could have everything if she forgave him.

Hilary tells Devon her final wedding dress fitting in scheduled soon and Devon asks to go to it. Hilary teases him. Hilary tells Devon they can talk about anything if he has something to talk to her about. He gives her a box and asks her to open it there is a diamond necklace. Hilary says, “Sometimes I forget how rich you are.” Colin(Tristan Rogers) walks over and asks, “Is it too soon to kiss the bride?”

Nikki tells Neil she is not going to the wedding. Neil tells her to think what she is missing. Nikki tells him he is poisoning himself; he is the only one who is miserable.

Jack asks Ashley if she really thinks Gabriel Bingham is behind the Paragon Project. Ashley changes her mind and says, “It is not Gabriel, he has no finesse and to do what the person behind Paragon is doing it takes a lifetime of hate. Gabriel is not a mastermind.” Ashley leaves.

Chelsea tells Adam he is ambushing her. Adam tells her the only way they can be together is too stay in Paris. Connor starts crying and Chelsea leaves. Adam’s phone rings and it is Jack he says, “I want to know how long you have been planning The Paragon Project ?

Adam asks him what Project is he talking about. Jack tells him it is an intricate plot to take Victor down and he demands Adam not play coy. Adam tells him he is not being coy this is the first he has heard of the Paragon Project. “But if someone is going after Victor and the company is that a surprise? Victor has tons of enemies.” Jack tells Adam he has always been the biggest. Adam asks Jack if he were guilty would he have gone to Paris. Jack says, “Okay you are innocent get home and help me find the person. Because if it isn’t me and it isn’t you we can both still get caught in the crossfire.”  Adam tells him he and Chelsea have a chance in Paris and he is not risking it for anyone. Adam hangs up.

Summer tells Kevin it was a memory not a dream and she remembered something. As they are talking Detective Harding is eavesdropping. Summer tells them she heard a piece of music, Mariah teases her and Summer storms off. Kevin tells the Scooby Gang to let Summer go maybe if she is alone she can remember something. Harding leaves.

Devon tells Colin kissing the bride comes after the ceremony. Colin tells Devon he is a lucky mate. He tells Hilary her necklace is beautiful. Hilary excuses herself.

Colin tells Devon he is lucky with a beautiful bride who trusts him. Devon asks Colin if it bothers him to always have a squeeze on people and his hand out. Colin tells him he can tell Hilary or he will tell her about the hooker.Hilary is trying to prepare her vows and is becoming frustrated and Nikki walks up to her. Hilary asks if Nikki ever wrote her own vows and Nikki replies, “It is not foreign territory and you have to write from your heart.” Hilary tells Nikki she thinks Neil is fine and Nikki tells her Neil is less than fine and if he gets more less than fine it may not be good.

Adam tells Chelsea he heard from the realtor and she wants them to come see the house. Chelsea tells him she did not agree to it yet. Adam tells her this could be their last chance and they don’t want to fill their lives with what ifs. Chelsea tells him, “We don’t have a choice we have to take that chance I forgive you.”

Victor is on the phone and pissed he tells the person he cannot understand why they cannot find Marco and they better find him NOW. Jack walks in. Jack tells Victor, “It seems his recent project Marco is always one step ahead of him.” Jack tells him Marco tried to step into his life and it is his turn now. Ashley walks in and says, “Please tell me this conversation is not who did what to who again.”

Victor walks out and Jack tells Ashley that he asks Gabriel and he is not behind the Project. Jack tells Ashley he is starting to think the Paragon Project only exists in Victor’s imagination. Jack leaves.

Chelsea and Adam are kissing and then they pour more champagne. Chelsea is excited because they are going to be a real family in France. Adam leaves to get food..

Chelsea’s phone rings, it is Ashley and she tells Chelsea she knows her and Gabriel are staying in Paris. Ashley tells her furthermore Jack asks Gabriel to come back to Genoa City and he refused. Chelsea is surprised.

Nikki tells Neil he is a good friend but she wants to help him get through the next few hours. Nikki suggests they go bowling, she knows he is white knuckling it through images of revenge. Neil tells her it does not mean he is going to do something.

Colin and Neil are at the Athletic Club and Colin makes a comment about how Devon is an ATM machine and as long as he keeps his mouth shut the $20s keep coming. Neil looks surprised and says, “You already got paid. How dare you hit him up for more cash. You push him to hard it will mess everything up. You did your job it is time to get out of it. You are not going to miss the end no one will.”

Nikki leaves Hilary and goes to see Colin who left Neil she asks Colin what he was talking to Neil about. Nikki tells him, “Neil has enough going on he does not need needling from you.” Colin tells her Neil is his family through Lily.

Jack and Victor come back to the room and Victor tells her that they were discussing how Gabriel is not behind the Paragon Project.

Adam comes back and Chelsea asks him if he has any regrets about not going back to Genoa City. Chelsea asks Adam about friends, what about Jack. Adam asks Chelsea if she is having second thoughts. Chelsea says, “You would give me the world but you refuse to give me the truth.”

Chelsea tells Adam that Ashley called and said Jack called and asked him to go back to Genoa City. Chelsea is pissed because Adam told Jack he would not go back to Genoa City before Chelsea agreed to stay. Adam does not get it, it was just a phone call. Chelsea tells Adam, “The past is still here as long as you still follow in your old habits.”

Kevin tells Kyle if he keeps hovering over Summer she won’t remember anything. Mariah tells Kyle Summer heard something and they need to figure out what the music means.

Harding comes into Chancellor Park and tells her she looks upset. Harding sits down and tells Summer he understands she saw things only cops have seen. Harding assures her they will find who killed Austin. Summer tells him it seems like it is taking forever. Harding tells Summer, “If you have any memories or suspicions come to me.” Summer says she will and gets up and Harding’s cell phone rings. Summer looks shocked, it is the music she heard when Austin was killed. Harding looks at her and asks, “Something wrong?”

Victor says to Jack, “I don’t need to tell you that Ashley is clever, very clever . Hope you did not tell her about Marco. Wish your did not tell Phyllis.” Jack tells Victor that it was a good thing he told Phyllis because she recognized Marco when he showed up. He also tells Victor if something happens to Phyllis he will pay. Victor’s phone rings and he answers and says, “Victor Newman!” Marco replies, “Really I thought it was the pizza delivery man what took you so long to answer? Is our little buddy there with you? You are going to help me kill Jack Abbott and we both get what we want.” Victor says, “I will get back to you later.” Jack asks if it was the investigator on the phone and Victor says, “It was a business proposition I have to get back to later.”

Hilary goes up to Neil and Neil tells her she is beautiful and gives her his best wishes. Hilary grabs his arm and says, “You are going to tell me what you are up to?”
