‘The Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers: Michael Baldwin Is Adam’s Lawyer, Believes He May Not Be Guilty – Lauren Not Pleased

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers are in; Michael Baldwin (Christian LeBlanc) lands in hot water after deciding to represent Adam Newman (Justin Hartley). Lauren (Tracey Bregman) told him that she couldn’t believe he would consider taking him as a client after the destruction he caused when he ran poor Delia down. Michael took a calculated risk to make sure Adam gets a fair trial.

Kevin (Greg Rikaart) told Victor (Eric Braeden) that he wanted to kill Adam. He told him he could get in line because most of Genoa City wanted to see him dead. Kevin went on to explain that the hurt he caused with Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) was catastrophic to his life. He lost his wife and his step-daughter. “Chloe lost everything. She almost lost her will fight and live,” he said as he swallowed hard. Victor told him he could help by stopping the virus; he agreed that he will do everything in his power to stop Paragon Project from breaking Newman Enterprises.

Victor is definitely upset at his son for his role in trying to take down his company. After all; Victor “built the company from the ground up, with his bare hands.” He thinks that Adam knows how to stop it, but he said before he had no idea how to stop it. The computer geek implied that there is a way to stop it through a backdoor, but no one but Ian Ward (Ray Wise) knows how to access it.

Michael told Adam that he wanted to represent him. He told him, even if he plans on pleading guilty, he needed a lawyer to make sure he got the best deal he can. Adam was reluctant at first but accepted his generous offer.  Michael seems to think there could be a possibility that he is not guilty of killing Delia.

The rumor is that Victor and Michael team up to find the real killer, clearing Adam of the murder (hit and run) charges. Billy (Burgess Jenkins) may still be charged with attempted murder and/or kidnapping charges. Paul (Doug Davidson) told Billy not to leave town because they may need to talk to him again. Billy was placed under investigation for shooting Adam that night.

Will Michael help Adam gain his freedom again? Is there any hope for Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) and Adam to reunite? Can Adam and Victor patch up their rocky relationship?
