‘The Young and the Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers Friday August 21: Harding,Paul & Dylan Faceoff-Someone Shot, Jack Fails To Kill Marco-Victor Arrives, Devon Suspect In Disappearance

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers for Friday August 21,2015 reveals that Jack and Victor are at odds about what to do with Marco.  Jack feels the only way to stop Marco is to kill him but Victor does not think that would be smart.  Meanwhile, Phyllis overhears Jack and Victor speaking and heads to Abbott Cabin to get a little revenge of her own.

The Friday August 21, 2015 episode of “Y&R” opens with the police officer tells Devon (Bryton James) that Hilary (Mishael Morgan) went off on the trail alone. The officer asks to talk to Devon alone. The officer tells Devon he met a women walking to Widows Peek and the women said she heard a scream and the officer found a room key good for Devon’s room. It is Hilary’s room key. The officer thinks Hilary fell.

Marco (Peter Bergman) asks Marisa (Sofia Pernas) if he has to lay it out for her people look out for them selves and Victor Newman (Erica Braeden) is a threat. Marisa tells him not to her. Marco laughs at her and tells her she has enough dirt to put Victor away forever and she is sleeping with his grandson. Marco tells Marisa he knows she is in love with Noah (Robert Adamson) but it is not going to end well Victor will convince Noah to dump her. He tells her not to kid herself she is expendable. Marco tells her they have to take care of them selves he tells her to untie him and he will get her to safety.

Victor asks Jack if he knows where Marco is. Jack tells Victor he left him at Abbott Cabin tied to a bed and he is being closely guarded, for now. Victor asks if he is going to kill Marco and Jack replies, “After what he did to my wife he deserves to die.” Unbeknownst to them Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) is listening.

Paul (Doug Davidson)and Christine (Laura Lee Bell) are at the Athletic Club having dinner he tells her he is trying to get healthy he is eating only healthy things. He picks up his phone and tells Christine he wanted to see if Dylan (Steve Burton) called. Christine tells Paul she knows he is using Dylan to keep tabs at work.

Dylan asks Summer(Hunter King) if she really saw Harding (Chris McKenna) at the Cabin. Summer assures her she did then Kevin(Greg Rikaart) realizes Noah is gone. Mariah (Camryn Grimes) tells him Noah went after Harding. Dylan is upset because he thinks Noah is going to mess up their case. Dylan runs out and Sharon walks in.

Sharon(Sharon Case)wants to know where Dylan rushed to and asks Mariah and Summer what is going on.

Noah walks into the GCPD and overhears Harding talking. Noah tells Harding it is over, he knows what he did he killed Austin (Matthew Atkinson) and Courtney(Kelli Gross). Noah tells Harding Summer saw him. Harding tells him Summer was drugged. Noah grabs Harding and Harding pulls his gun.

Devon asks if she fell or not. Devon tells the officer he knows it is dangerous but he is going to find his wife. The office tells him he is NOT.

Sharon accuses Mariah of lying and Sharon is unconvinced and grills Mariah. When Sharon is getting nowhere with Mariah she starts questioning Summer. Summer tells Sharon it does not involve her. Summer finally tells her, “We know who the killer is!”

Noah asks if Harding is going to kill him like he killed the others. Harding tells him he should be in lock up and he is going to let it go because he knows it is Noah’s grief. Noah accuses Harding of hating Courtney but Harding tells him he admired Courtney and he is trying to do right by her and get justice for her. Another cop comes in and Harding tells him to keep an eye on Noah and he leaves.

Phyllis is still listening to Jack and Victor talking and Victor tells Jack killing Marco is not a good idea because Jack will have to live with it. Jack tells Victor to do it because he has no conscious. Jack screams, “Pick up the phone, make the call, I want Marco gone!” Phyllis hears turns around and leaves.

Summer and Mariah fill Sharon in on why they know that Harding was at the cabin. Sharon tells her she is sorry. Mariah lets it slip that Fe n(Max Ehrich) drugged the punch.

Paul tells Christine she wants him to work less what better way than have Dylan help him. Christine is worried Paul will have another heart attack and going back to work is about stress. Paul tells Christine Dylan wants to get on the police force. Harding runs into the club and tells Paul they have a problem. He says, “Since you deputized your son the inmates have been running the asylum. Noah Newman and his friends are interfering in the murder investigation. He just accused me of being a dirty cop. I don’t know why but I took a bullet to try to catch the murder. He needs to mind his business.” Paul agrees to talk to him.

Christine tells Paul she agrees with Harding  and he has to put a stop to it.

Dylan and Kevin run into the GCPD and see Kevin they tell him they heard he went after Harding and are glad is all right.

Noah tells them Harding denied it. Kevin checks the computer to see if he can find where Harding ran.

Marco tells Marisa they will go where they fit in and people will accept them. Marisa tells him she cannot go back to that life. Marco tells her she is the only woman who means anything to him. Marisa is doubtful because she thinks he wants Phyllis. Marco tells her she is jealous. Marisa tells him he is right, she sits on the bed picks up the ties Marco gets excited and says, “Yes untie me, WHAT!!” Marisa has tightened the ropes and spits in Marco’s face. She tells him Jack is going to kill him and she is going to be happy to watch Phyllis walks in and says, “So will I!”

Back on the Island Devon does not understand why he cannot go find his wife. The police officer tells him he has to ask Devon questions because he is the last person who saw Hilary.

Christine asks Paul what he was thinking if Dylan finds anything the evidence could be thrown out because Dylan is a civilian. Dylan calls Paul and tells Harding to get a warrant to arrest Harding. Dylan explains they have evidence and Paul tells him Harding was just there and mad. Dylan tells Paul he really believes Harding is going to run. Paul tells him he is going to the station and stay put and Paul tells Christine to come along and he will explain.

Meanwhile, Kevin has found Harding on the surveillance cameras he is at The Athletic Club on the deck. Kevin wants to call Paul but Dylan tells him not to do it he does not want Paul involved considering his health. Dylan tells Kevin he is handling it on his own.

Victor tells Jack there are other ways to handle it they can put Marco back in the Peruvian jail he was. Jack is frightened he will get out. Victor tells him Marco threatened his family and he would not want him out. Jack tells Victor the only way to get rid of Marco for good. He tells Victor, “MAKE THE CALL!” and storms out.

Marco tells Phyllis, “Thank God you are here I thought I would never get away from Marco and his traitor they have been working together all along they are trying to kill me.” Marisa tells Phyllis not to buy it, it is Marco not Jack. Marco calls Phyllis Red and she flips and tells him not to call her that she says, “I bought your act for months and that is not going to happen anymore!” Marco says, “You cannot blame me for trying.” Phyllis runs to the kitchen gets a big knife and tape. Marco freaks she tapes his mouth and tells him she wants him to feel what it is like to be on the other end. Marisa asks Phyllis what she thinks they should do with Marco

Phyllis tells Marco, “There are so many ways to end it, so little time.” Marisa tells Marco her eyes have opened up and she knows he used her and then would have killed her like a dog. Marisa tells Marco that it was worse for Phyllis he took away her power and choice and if she were Phyllis she would do the same.

Sharon is afraid Dylan is going to get killed. Mariah tells Sharon she is going to be a liability if she goes after Dylan. Sharon thinks she can talk sense into him. She calls him and leaves a message and asks him to turn around going after Harding is too big a risk. She reminds him she needs him and their baby needs him. Sharon leaves, says she cannot wait. Mariah and Summer follow her.

Paul and Christine run into the GCPD and Christine tells Kevin off for taking the law into his own hand. Paul asks where Dylan is. Christine gets a call and she has to leave and promises he will do nothing dangerous. She leaves and Paul asks where Dylan is.

Harding is on the phone with someone and tells them he needs a passport ASAP he tells the person he does not care about the cost the guy has to get there NOW. Dylan walks in and says, “Planning a trip.”

Devon explains to the officer what happened the last time he saw Hilary. The officer asks if he encouraged Hilary to go on the tour herself. The officer is skeptical and asking Devon many questions he asks Devon if they had an argument or something happened. Devon gets upset and tells him he would not hurt his wife.

Kevin and Noah are watching Dylan and Harding on the surveillance camera. Dylan asks Harding who was involved in the murders he knows someone is pulling the strings. Dylan tells him he is sure there is a reason Harding went rogue.

Meanwhile at the GCPD Sharon, Mariah and Summer walk in and up to Kevin she wants to know what Kevin is hiding and Kevin tells her they are just looking at surveillance video. Sharon pushes in to see they try to stop her without luck.

Dylan tells Harding he wants to help him and Harding draws his gun on Dylan and tells him, “Get out of my way.” Dylan keeps asking why Harding did it. Harding laughs and says, “You trying to talk me down? Putting your life on the line day in and day out and not even making rent. If you think I was paid to kill those kids you are wrong I was paid to keep secrets and I am not telling them. But don’t worry it is not going to last long.” Paul runs in gun pointed and says, “Drop the gun HARDING!”

Phyllis tells Marco, “You think you know me. The person you slept with the women you conned and assaulted on her wedding night. She does not exist anymore. You used Jack and my love to force me to go along for months. That woman given the chance would slit your throat from ear to ear. But, I am not that woman and I will not give you that satisfaction and you will NEVER take anything from me again.”

Phyllis drops the knife and Jack walks in. Jack says, “It won’t stop me” and picks the knife up and goes to stab Marco. Marisa yells, “Jack DON’T!”

The officer is on the phone he tells Devon they have an eyewitness that saw Hilary fighting with a man on the summit. Devon asks who it was and Devon says, “You think it was me??”

Jack has the knife raised and says, “I have waited a long time to do this you WILL NEVER hurt another women again.” Marisa tells him not to do it it is not worth it. Jack says, “Someone has to stop him!” Marisa tells him, “Not this way, do not sacrifice your life.” Jack tells her, “No one has to know it is just the three of us. He is already missing officially people will just think he got away.” Phyllis gasps NO! “You have a full conscious, don’t stoop to his level. You are a better man than that please put the knife down. Jack puts the knife down and Victor walks in and says, “You made the right choice Jack. All heads turn surprised to see Victor.

Paul tells Harding to lower his weapon and Harding tells him if he takes another step he will kill Dylan. The Scooby Doo gang are all watching.

Paul tells Harding if he surrenders he will see he is treated fairly. Harding tells him he is not going to fall for it. Harding says, “With 3 people dead I am looking to spend all my life in prison.” Dylan says, “You are saying you did it?” Harding replies, “The only way Dylan gets out alive is if you let me go.”

Paul tells him he cannot do it. Harding tells Paul to say goodbye to his son. Paul agrees to lower his gun. Dylan screams, “Don’t do it Paul, he will shoot us.” and he goes after Harding tries to grab his gun arm. Paul screams, “DYLAN” shots ring out. Sharon who is watching the surveillance video screams and bends over.
