‘The Young And The Restless’ Spoilers Wednesday December 16: Dr. Neville Blackmails Neil, Phyllis And Jack Marriage In Trouble

“The Young and the Restless” (Y&R) Wednesday, December 16 spoilers tease that Dr. Neville [Michael E. Knight] will make an appearance in Genoa City to bribe Neil [Kristoff St. John] for money for his research. Phyllis [Gina Tognoni] and Jack [Peter Bergman] continue to deal with Victor’s [Eric Braeden] crimes against their family. Victor tells Adam [Justin Hartley] that it’s over—the Abbotts folded and paid the $500 million to Newman Enterprises.

Dr. Neville is pleased that Hilary [Mishael Morgan] seems to be in perfect health. He insists that he needs funds to launch his research and implies that Neil should be the one to invest in his project. “The world is changing; I need a motivated investor to get my researching going,” Neville said. Neil responds by getting short with the shady doctor. Dr. Neville suggested that Neil owed him for keeping Neil’s secrets from the police. Neil said he will consider the offer and will get back to him.

Phyllis and Jack have a mess on their hands as they deal with their painful beginning of their marriage. Phyllis remembers that Jack was there to say his vows but missed their wedding night after Victor had his doppelganger swap places with him. “I am your wife; we took our wedding vows and you didn’t make it to the wedding night,” Phyllis yells at Jack. Will Phyllis and Jack get a happily ever after? How will Jack deal with Billy’s [Burgess Jenkins] betrayal?

At the penthouse, Victor lets Chelsea [Melissa Claire Egan], and Adam know the good news—the Abbotts conceded, and Newman Enterprises is back in business. With the Santori’s investment plus the Abbott’s settlement, Newman will be back on top in no time. The word on social media is that Victor formerly asked Adam to partner with him to rebuild Newman. The real question is whose side is Adam on—Victor or Jack?
