“The Young and the Restless” Thursday, December 31 spoilers tease that Ashley Abbott [Eileen Davidson] will have a health crisis just as Abby Newman’s [Melissa Ordway] wedding begins. Victoria [Ametia Heinle] and Jack [Peter Bergman] speculate that Billy Abbott [Burgess Jenkins] could be gambling again. Billy is in serious trouble with his bookie, Gill.
Ashley Abbott fainted as the wedding ceremony began. Ben ‘Stitch’ Rayburn [Sean Carrigan] rushes to her side to make sure she is okay. He stands over her and bends at her side to ask her if she can hear him. “It’s Ben, Ashley. Can you hear me?” All eyes were on Ashley as she struggles to wake up.
Victoria tells Jack that Billy mentioned he had irons in the fire, and she was glad he finally wanted to put his life back together. Jack noted he doubted his story. Jack said, “Those irons are probably horses that didn’t win!” Victoria looked at Jack confused—clearly, Victoria doesn’t think Billy would stoop to gambling again.

Gil, the bookie corners Billy and wants his money now! Billy owes him over two million dollars and he expects him to pay up, immediately. Gill grabs Billy and throws him against the wall. Gill says, “We are doing this NOW.”
Billy is in trouble because Jack [and the rest of the Abbott] is nearly broke because of the Newman payoff due to the Paragon virus mess. Billy cannot ask Victoria for money considering the money is to pay off a debt. The only people he knows could loan him the money, are people he does not want to know that he is gambling, again. Billy is in real trouble, and Gill is intense. He wants his money, and he will get the cash or Billy will take a serious beating.
