‘The Young and The Restless’ (Y&R) Spoilers: Neil Confesses to Devon – Will Hilary Survive?

“The Young and the Restless” spoilers are in, and it looks like Devon (Bryton James) could soon find out what really happened to his new wife, Hilary Winters-Hamilton (Mishael Morgan). In fact expect that Devon will get a confession from Neil this week, September 14 – 18 on Y&R. No one knows that Neil (Kristoff St. John) has made the terrible decision of holding Hilary captive – drugging her to keep her quietly in bed. Spoilers indicate that another witness comes forward that may force Neil to reveal the truth to his family. Will Devon find Hilary before it is too late?

The first witness came forward last week and was convinced that Devon was the one who was carrying Hilary by the river. He was so sure that he swore to the local police that he could have hurt her. Devon decided to come to the island to help Michael (Christian LeBlanc) and Cane (Daniel Goddard) find answers since he thinks they doubt his story. The witness came to their hotel room and came face to face with Devon.

Devon asked him, “Now that you see me up close and personal, am I the one you say carrying that woman along the beach?” He stuttered that he isn’t sure. “Now that you mention it the guy was taller and had a lot more hair. Furthermore, he looked a little older than you,” he stated. Then he said, “But if the authorities ask me, I am going to have to say that it was you because I cannot completely rule out it wasn’t you.” Devon looked stressed and unsure how to handle proving his innocence.

This week, another witness will come forth. The witness tells Cane that they saw Hilary being loaded on a private jet. That should give the first clue that Hilary is somewhere else. It shouldn’t take much longer to prove that Devon wasn’t at fault. Neil seemed desperate for Hilary to wake up, so she can tell the police that he saved her life. At this point, he is terrified that he will rot in jail after taking her and holding her captive.

The speculation is that Hilary could may up with amnesia, not remembering anything about her life with Devon. It is possible she’ll wake up to believe she was married to Neil. If that happened, would Neil correct her? Well in fact this is moot since spoilers for this week are pretty clear that Neil has a confession in store for Devon!
