‘The Young And The Restless’ News: ‘Y&R’ Alum Eva Longoria Engaged To Marry Jose Antonio

“The Young and the Restless” alum Eva Longoria [Isabella Williams, Y&R] shared her exciting engagement news with her Instagram followers on Sunday, reported Daily Mail. The Latin beauty shared the news that her fiancée Jose Antonio surprised her with a proposal while celebrating the Holidays in Dubai.

Eva shared a picture of the happy couple kissing with the caption, “Ummmmm, so this just happened…#engaged #Dubai Happiness.” In the image, the desert in the background and Eva is sporting a HUGE rock on her finger.

Eva has been dating Jose, the president of Televisa [the largest mass media TV company in Latin America], since 2013. Eva recently stated that marriage and children were not in her future, and she was okay with it. She realized after two marriages failed that walking down the aisle a third time would not be the best choice for her. It looks like Jose had other plans; he orchestrated a surprise engagement—shocking his new fiancée.

Eva admitted in an interview recently that Jose makes her extremely happy, and she feels they had a real future. Longoria stated, “I’m truly in love.” An inside source revealed to People that Jose had treated her like a true gentleman by sweeping her off her feet from the first moment they met.

Eva Longoria is best known for her role on “Y&R” as Isabella. She was married to Paul Williams [Doug Davidson]. The couple had a child together, Ricky [Peter Porte]. The relationship began when Paul, who married to Christine Blaire [Lauralee Blair] had an affair with Isabella.

Michael Logan [TV Insider] said it best when he said, “Isabella was a nutjob which had a talent for making Christine crazy.” Eva said that Isabella proved to be her most challenging role of her long career. Eva noted, Isabella was complex, so full of anger and love at the same time. “It was a huge challenge for me to portray her.”
