‘The Young and the Restless’ News: Nadine Nicole Reprising Her Role On Y&R – Will Gwen Join Neil’s Plot Against Devon & Hilary

Nadine Nicole is reprising her role of Gwen on “Young and the Restless” in September, according to Michael Fairman. Last weekend at the “Y&R” fan event, she was introduced to the crowd alongside Kristoff St. John (Neil), Bryton James (Devon) and Angell Cornwell (Leslie). She revealed that she will reprise her role of Gwen airing on September 9. Is it possible she could be Neil’s new love interest?

Gwen was originally introduced as Devon’s fake girlfriend. His family knew he was seeing someone and he didn’t want them to find out he was involved in an affair with his father’s wife, Hilary (Mishael Morgan). After a few just-for-show dates, he started having sincere feelings for her. It became a problem for Hilary, and she pressed for Devon to keep his distance from her, as much as possible.

Gwen enjoyed talking to Neil and seemed to be a better fit for him rather than Devon. She took the time to listen to him and didn’t dismiss his feelings. When Gwen found out about Devon’s big betrayal, she was confused and angry with the situation. She couldn’t believe that he would do that to his father. Devon and Gwen parted ways and she appeared to leave Genoa City.

Fans thought that was the last time they would see her. Without a relationship with Devon, it seemed like her storyline was dead. It appears now, she may have a new storyline. Considering how angry she was about Devon and Hilary’s affair, she may join Neil in a revenge plot against the happy couple.

Neil needs a leading lady to steer him away from the revenge and despair he has been living in for far too long. He needs someone that can love him just as he is so he can move on from Hilary, once and for all. His romance possibilities are very limited in Genoa City. Most of the women are spoken for in one way or another. For a while, it looked like he might have a romance with Nikki (Melody Thomas Scott), but long-time viewers know that Nikki’s heart is with Victor (Eric Braeden). Do you think Gwen could be a love interest for Neil?
