‘The Young And The Restless’ News: Lachlan Buchanan Joins Cast Of MTV’s ‘Teen Wolf’

‘The Young And The Restless’ star Lachlan Buchanan, whom you most likely knows as Kyle Abbott, has joined the cast of the popular MTV show ‘Teen Wolf.‘  Buchanan took to Twitter in the wee hours of the morning on Monday December 7th and shared a photo of himself looking VERY tired.  Buchanan captioned the photo, “Before they mystify me 😉 @teenwolfMTV #bedhead #sleepy #TeenWolf.”

So far details on Lachlan Buchanan’s role on ‘Teen Wolf’ are scarce – it’s unclear whether he will just be appearing for a few short episodes, or he has landed a recurring role.  Buchanan joined the cast of ‘The Young And The Restless‘ in January 2015, however last month it was revealed that Lachlan had been dropped from contract and bumped down to recurring status.  His character Kyle Abbott hasn’t been on the CBS soap in over a month, although he did recently announce on Twitter that he had a few scenes coming up this month.  So, Buchanan has had a lot of free time on his hands to work on the set of ‘Teen Wolf.’

For those of you who aren’t familiar with ‘Teen Wolf‘ – its a teen sci-fi drama based on the 1980’s movie, and you guessed it … it’s about teen wolves, and other supernatural creatures.  We can’t wait to see what Lachlan Buchanan’s role is on the MTV show, or how exactly the crew is “mystifying” him.  It sounds like he might be playing the part of some sort of creature in the upcoming season.  Are you a fan of ‘Teen Wolf?‘ Are you as excited as we are about Lachlan’s new acting gig?
