‘The Young And The Restless’ News: Josh Morrow Wants A Nick And Chelsea Romance

Could there be a Nick and Chelsea romance in the future – Josh Morrow hopes so!  “The Young And The Restless” spoilers have indicated that Nick and Sages marriage is on the downward spiral on the CBS soap.  Joshua Morrow’s character Nick Newman is no newbie when it comes to romances – he has had a steady stream of relationships on ‘Y&R’ for years now.  Nick an Sage’s marriage is still definitely salvageable, but Josh Morrow is already looking to the future – and he has some ideas as to who the next leading lady in his life should be.

This week Josh Morrow participated in a Q&A session on Facebook with ‘The Young And The Restless’ fans.  One ‘Y&R’ viewer asked Josh who he thought his character Nick Newman should hook up with next.  Josh’s number one pick on his list was none other than his half-brother Adam Newman’s (Justin Hartley) wife – Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan)!  Morrow replied, “I look forward to working with all of the ladies…I see a potential story with Chelsea, Phyllis, Sage and Sharon…..and maybe even Avery again…..fingers crossed.”

It’s interesting that Chelsea was at the top of his list seeing as how Sage recently ran to Adam Newman for support while she an Nick weren’t seeing eye to eye.  With Adam and Sage growing close again, that could leave Chelsea out in the cold, will she turn to Nick Newman for support?  It’s basically the oldest soap storyline in the books – the highly predictable “couple swap.”  What do you guys think?  Could Chelsea and Nick be the next Genoa City super couple?
