‘The Young and The Restless’ News: Is Tristan Rogers Headed Back To General Hospital? Dropped To Recurring Status On Y&R

Tristan Rogers is one of the most talented actors in daytime TV. He has portrayed Colin Atkinson on “Young and the Restless” since 2013. Before his stint on “Y&R,” he was a fan favorite on “General Hospital.” Many fans have begged ABC and CBS to share him and allow him to work with both soaps. It seems he may be closer to making that a reality; it is rumored that he was dropped from contract to recurring status on “Young and the Restless.” Could this mean he may be coming back to “General Hospital” as Robert Scorpio?

Robert Scorpio was last mentioned on “General Hospital” on Aug. 27, 2014. Anna stated that Scorpio as looking into what happened with Maxine and Lulu from Wisconsin. Nothing else has been mentioned about his character in almost a year, but fans are still hoping that he will return to the show.

Fans have begged for Robert Scorpio to return to “General Hospital” for almost two years now. Until recently, Roger was on contract with “Y&R” and not able to work for both soaps. Tristan Rogers was open to the idea of working for both soaps, but it was speculated that the networks didn’t want to share him. When the news broke that he was dropped to recurring status on “Y&R,” fans jumped for joy in anticipation that he may return to “GH” on recurring status as well.

Just a few months ago, it was confirmed that “Y&R” wouldn’t share Tristan Rogers. They felt he was too important of a character to ‘allow’ him to share his time between two soaps. Now that the Neil/Hilary/Devon storyline is wrapping up, for the most part in the next few weeks, could the soap have changed their mind about sharing him? Only time will tell if Rogers is able to return as Robert Scorpio.
