‘The Young And The Restless’ star Daniel Goddard (Cane Ashby) has been in and out of the hospital after he broke his elbow this Fall while filming a fight scene with Scott Elrod’s character Joe Clark. The ‘Y&R’ star has been keeping fans up to date on his various surgeries, progress, and setbacks on Facebook – and it has been one tumultuous recovery for Goddard.
Last week Daniel Goddard revealed that the steel that was placed in his elbow had caused an infection and his body was rejecting it – so he was headed back to the hospital for emergency surgery to have it removed ASAP. It looks like Daniel has recovered from the surgery and was released from the hospital. The ‘Y&R‘ star took to Facebook to thank his fans and followers for their unwavering support during this tough time.

My dearest friends… Not even these words come close to expressing how much thanks and love I have for all your support during this time. You have made without a doubt one of the hardest moments of my life bearable. I wish I could thank every single one of you personally for all your support, and all of your love and all your messages to get better. I adore you. I adore you. I adore you.
Love Daniel
