‘The Bold and the Beautiful’ Casting News: Anna Maria Horsford And Obba Babatunde Join Cast As Maya’s Parents, Vivienne And Julius Avant

“Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers and coming and going news tease that Maya’s parents are on their way to Los Angeles, and they will see Maya Avant for the first time since she transitioned from Myron. According to “Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers, the parts of Maya’s parents Vivienne and Julius Avant will be played by Anna Maria Horsford and Obba Babatunde. Sadly, Vivienne and Julius don’t even come to Los Angeles to visit Maya after all of these years – spoilers indicate that they just came looking for their younger daughter Nicole.

Anna Maria Horsford boasts an impressive resume and is actually a CBS soap alum, she previously starred in the now cancelled daytime drama Guiding Light. You also may recognize Horsford from her work on sitcoms The Wayans Brothers and Amen. Obba Babatunde also has some soap opera work under his belt, Babatunde has already appeared on All My Children, The Young and the Restless, and One Life To Life. “Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers tease that Horsford will make her debut as Maya’s mom Vivienne on July 3, and Obba will kick off his run as Julius on July 9.

According to Michael Logan’s “Bold and the Beautiful” spoilers on TV Insider, fans of the CBS soap will not want to miss the first scenes shared between Maya and her parents after all of these years – they are sure to be ones for the record books. Obba Babatunde dished to TV Insider, “Their first encounter after all this time is incredibly powerful. And then later they see this new person in the glory of her new world at Forrester Creations and she is absolutely astounding! But how does a father handle that?”
