The 43rd Annual Daytime Emmy Awards 2016 Date Set – Mark Your Calendars!

It’s hard to believe that 2015 is nearly over, and it has been one heck of a year for “The Young And The Restless,” “The Bold And The Beautiful,” “Days Of Our Lives,” and “General Hospital.”  Not to mention some of our favorite internet soap operas have also grown  by leaps and bounds during 2015 as well.  On Tuesday October 20^th, the National Academy Of Television Arts & Sciences made an announcement regarding the 2016 Daytime Emmy Awards.

According to NATAS official press release, the 2016 Daytime Emmy Awards will be held on Sunday May 1^st 2016, and the Daytime Creative Arts Emmy Awards will be held on Friday April 29^th 2016.  ABC Soaps In Depth shared this official statement from the National Academy Of Television Arts & Sciences:

“Daytime television continues to evolve and each year I am humbled by the depth of talent and production that takes place day in and day out in our industry.  With the proliferation of new programming and the continuous innovations in how, where and when we watch daytime television, I am looking forward to another year of growth and excellence for the daytime genre.”
