‘General Hospital’ Spoilers Wednesday December 23: Gala Brawl Turns Deadly – Dante and Valerie in Danger – Sam Pleads With Sonny to Help Jason

‘General Hospital’ spoilers for the Wednesday, December 23 episode show that Jason Morgan [Billy Miller] may have his new life of freedom cut short when he commits a major crime at the Nutcracker Gala.

Nikolas Cassadine [Tyler Christopher] told Hayden Branes [Rebecca Budig] that he was going to play nice with everyone, but then he deliberately provoked Jason. That turned to fisticuffs but Nikolas had no idea how far it was going to go.

Nikolas ended up going over the balcony in the last moment of the show, but what now? Fortunately for him, it looks like Nik will land in the trash bin (no irony there) on the level of the MetroCourt where Liz Webber [Rebecca Herbst] is crying her eyes out.

Liz will run to help Nikolas who will be injured (but will survive) while Hayden accuses Jason of killing Nikolas just as PCPD Commish Jordan Ashford [Vinessa Antoine] shows up. Looks like Jason could end up behind bars before the Gala is done.

Meanwhile Sam Morgan [Kelly Monaco] goes running to Sonny Corinthos [Maurice Benard] for help. Sam tells him that if Nikolas doesn’t recover from whatever injuries he’s suffered, Jason will go down for assault and possibly murder.

Sonny and Carly Corinthos [Laura Wright] will rush to save Jason. What will Liz think of her honey after she realizes he knocked Nik off a balcony? And with no one to speak up for Jason and say that Nikolas attacked first, he’s going to look guilty as sin.

Across Port Charles, Valerie Spencer [Brytni Sarpi] and Dante Falconeri [Dominic Zamprogna] are both in uniform and on duty but they take a smooch break to kiss in the park. Someone is watching them with binoculars.

Is it Johnny Zacchara [Brandon Barash] or some of Paul Hornsby’s [Richard Burgi] mob thugs or even Carlos Rivera [Jeffrey Vincent Parise]? Will the two thugs on the run – Johnny and Carlos – run into each other? How would that play out?

Over at the Haunted Star, Lulu Spencer [Emme Rylan] wants to know what evil plans Johnny has for Lulu. They will implement these soon, but it looks like Lulu may come to regret some of the events that unfold and that she can’t take back.

Also, looks like Laura Spencer [Genie Francis] has two kids to worry about. She’s certain that Lulu is up to no good when it comes to the breakdown of her marriage and now Nikolas will be in General Hospital possibly fighting for his life.
