‘General Hospital’ Spoilers, July 22: Port Charles Is All About Big and Little Jake Today

Wednesday is all about big and little Jake in Port Charles – check out these ‘General Hospital’ spoilers for the Wednesday June 22 episode.

Now that Laura Spencer [Genie Francis] knows that little Jake Spencer [James Nigbor] is back from the dead and that Jake Doe [Billy Miller] is Jason Morgan, she wants some answers from Nikolas Cassadine [Tyler Christoper] about what else he’s hiding from her and why he’s being such a freaking Cassadine. Does Nik have any more secrets and will he come clean to Mommy Dearest?

And both big and little Jake happen to be at GH. Big Jake came to the hospital to support Carly Corinthos [Laura Wright] as she brought Josslyn Jacks [Hannah Nordberg] for further testing. Carly wants to know from Lucas Jones [Ryan Carnes] whose kidney is in her cancer-free kid, but Lucas has no idea – at least we know Lucas wasn’t involved in Helena Cassadine’s [Constance Towers] plot.

Big Jake runs into Sam Morgan [Kelly Monaco] and drops the truth bomb that little Jake is alive and well which Sam is excited about because that means her kid Danny has a half-brother. She will lament that Jason isn’t there to find out. Then Liz Webber [Rebecca Herbst] sees them chatting and has a whole new guilt/panic attack. How much longer can she keep the truth from Jake? Shame on you Liz! Shame!

Laura wants to talk more about little and big Jake after she gets no satisfaction from Nik so she’ll head to town to chat up her DA ex Scotty Baldwin [Kin Shriner]. Laura tells Scotty that little Jake is back from the dead, compliments of Helena, which means Luke Spencer [Anthony Geary] is off the hook for the hit and run.

Scotty is thrilled and suggests that he and Luke can be best friends now – TOTALLY KIDDING! Scotty still thinks Luke is a scumbag despite this one bad thing that Luke didn’t do. Laura also really wants to tell Scotty that Jake is Jason but will she sit on the secret? No doubt Nik wants her to but Laura may not keep it zipped. Why not? Everyone in town should know before Jake who he is…

Speaking of Luke – he’s happy that little Jake is back but very upset that Tracy Quartermaine [Jane Elliot] just dumped him. And then Michael Quartermaine [Chad Duell] shows up to talk about the AJ Quartermaine clinic that he wants to stop on the old Spencer property on Elm Street. Luke will give an okay but wants to see the old place before it’s bulldozed.

After Lucas is done talking little Jake issues with Carly, he’ll get some upsetting news from a nurse about his fiance Brad Cooper [Parry Shen]. Felix DuBois [Marc Samuel] chats up Brad and wants to know what juicy secrets he’s hiding. Brad is ready to reveal and it’s a family secret – could Brad have a secret wife somewhere? Whatever it is, it’s so bad that Brad calls off the wedding with Lucas.

And totally unrelated to either Jake, Nathan West [Ryan Paevey] and Maxie Jones [Kirsten Storms] are interrupted while they are in flagrante by Nate’s mom Madeline Reeves [Donna Mills]. She wants to tell Nathan that his big sister Nina Clay [Michelle Stafford] is going off her rocker again. Maddy wants Nathan to be on her side when she moves to have Nina committed.

Nathan doesn’t know Maddy is making a money play, but he will be worried about his sister Nina. Hopefully Nathan will dig in and catch Maddy and Ric Lansing [Rick Hearst] plotting and shut them down. Maxie also chats up Lulu Spencer [Emme Rylan] later. Lulu tells her that Valerie Spencer [Brytni Sarpi] and Dante Falconeri [Dominic Zamprogna] locked lips.

Lulu tells Maxie she blames herself for Dante smooching cousin Val but Maxie isn’t buying that. Maxie tells her that Valerie is to blame because she has the hots for Dante and also tells Lulu that she doubts a kiss was all it was. Maxie thinks Lulu needs to be on high alert because she thinks Val is coming for her man. This will give Lulu some things to think about for sure.
