‘General Hospital’ Spoilers: Babies and Gangsters – Will Julian and Ava Get Their Babies Back?

What is it with babies and gangsters in Port Charles? In this ‘General Hospital’ spoiler, we look at what will happen with Ava Jerome [Maura West] and little Avery, and Ava’s brother Julian Jerome [William deVry] and his little tot that he thinks is dead. First we’ll talk about baby boy Jerome and his fate, then move on to the whole insane Ava and Denise DeMuccio issue and her baby.

But before we dig into this, we have to ask, what is it with mobsters and their super-fertility? One night with a Port Charles gangster and you are definitely going to get knocked up. Sonny has a tons of kids and the one time he shagged Ava, bam – baby! And Julian has two kids, each from a one-night stand. So just know, if you find yourself in Port Charles looking for love, hook up with a cop or accountant!

So Ned Ashton [Wally Kurth] left town with the little Jerome baby after Olivia Falconeri [Lisa LoCicero] convinced Julian their baby had died. But that secret will not last long. Nikolas Cassadine [Tyler Christopher] knows the baby is alive as does Kyle Sloane [Grayson McCouch] since Nik sent Sloane to get ELQ shares from Brook Lynn Ashton.

Sloane found Brook Lynn babysitting the Jerome baby, so that’s two more people who know the kid isn’t dead. Plus Dante Falconeri [Dominic Zamprogna] knows his baby bro isn’t dead. And Dante likely told Lulu Spencer [Emma Rylan]. And Tracy Quartermaine [Jane Elliot] is determined to go to LA to talk to Brook Lynn about the shares and that means she’ll soon know the baby is alive too.

So how long before Julian knows? And since he’s hooking up with one of Port Charles’ top lawyers Alexis Davis [Nancy Lee Grahn], it won’t be long before Julian will have Olivia in court. And since she lied and defrauded Julian into thinking his kid was dead, it’s very likely that he could win a court case and get sole custody of his baby boy due to Olivia’s actions.

Now with baby Avery, it’s a little different. Ava has legal troubles since she’s wanted for murder. But if Ava’s deal with Franco [Roger Howarth] holds out, he will get the murder evidence out of his dad Scotty Baldwin’s [Kin Shriner] desk and the PCPD won’t be able to press charges against her. There’s still the escape from Pentonville, but Alexis can probably get that dropped.

With Ava free to drop her Denise DeMuccio disguise, that means she can fight with Sonny for custody of baby Avery. Sonny is still a mobster which means that Ava may be able to get custody away from him under the same grounds that Michael Quartermaine [Chad Duell] was able to – that Avery is in danger because of Sonny’s thug lifestyle.

This means that potentially, both Ava and her brother Julian could end up with their babies. Imagine the two Jeromes raising their kids together. Seems nice, right? Well, maybe… With Julian, there’s a fitter parent available in Olivia. But with Avery, Ava is just as fit as Sonny since they are both killers who will do what they have to in order to survive and protect those they love.
