Ryan Paevey is best known for his work on “General Hospital” portraying Nina Clay’s (Michelle Stafford) younger brother, Nathan West. He posted a Periscope on September 14 to talk to his fans before settling down for the night. He showed his fans that he was just like you’d expect- down to earth and your average nice guy, who only happens to work with one of the most popular soap operas in daytime TV.
He revealed he had been very busy at fan events but was looking forward to getting back to the set next week. He showed a script with the new writers name on it. “No more Ron Carlivati scripts,” he said. e said that everyone had been on vacation for the past week, so he was anxious to get back to work in the next few weeks.
A fan asked him if he was stopped when walking along the street to tell him they are disappointed in the storylines. He said, “In L.A., he is not approached very often. In other cities, he is sometimes stopped but people usually tell him how much they enjoy him on the soap.” He went on to explain most people won’t stop you to speak negatively about you.
Like Michelle Stafford, he addressed the Internet bullies. He said, “You haven’t arrived at fame until you have a small army of haters. I block at least 10 people on Twitter every day. You have to ignore the haters and do what makes YOU happy. You are the most important person in your life. Fans, TAKE CARE OF YOU.”
He told his fans that he was not interested in sports when a fan asked him if he thinks Tom Brady cheated. He said he didn’t care either way. He explained, “I am indifferent towards sports. I just don’t care. I am missing the gene that most men have that makes them love sports.”
Ryan Paevey is a talented actor with a great sense of humor. He said he was excited to be able to visit each one of his fans every day while they watch “General Hospital.” If you have a few minutes, watch Ryan’s Periscope see his charm firsthand.
