‘General Hospital’ News: Hope For Paws Visits ‘GH’ Backstage – William deVry, Tyler Christopher And Vinessa Antoine Welcome Animal Rescue Advocates

“General Hospital” stars William deVry [Julian Jerome], Tyler Christopher [Nikolas Cassadine], and Vinessa Antoine [Jordan Ashford] were on hand to welcome “Hope for Paws” to the set of “GH.” The non-profit organization is an animal rescue mission based in Los Angeles, California.

Rebecca Staub [ex-Elizabeth Barrington, Port Charles; ex-Heather Stevens, Y&R] was on hand with Hope for Paws advocate Lisa Arturo for the visit. The ladies brought along Veyron and Bobo, two of the many dogs who have been rescued and fostered by the organization. Rebecca shared a photo of the Antoine, Christopher and deVry with Veyron and Bobo. Lisa Arturo also posted several photos of the visit to the “General Hospital” set.

Hope for Paws goal is to educate people on the importance of companion animals in our society in order to stop the cycle of animal neglect and abuse. Audrey and Eldad Hagar began Hope for Paws and have been fostering hundreds of animals in their home for the past eight years. The couple has created a very large network of rescuers from all over the world via social media.

The dogs, and other animals, are cared for by the Hagars’ live in a cage-free and loving environment until they are able to find permanent and loving homes. “General Hospital” viewers, or anyone else, can help Hope for Paws by donating via the organization’s website. You can also contact the organization if you live in the Los Angeles area and are able to provide a loving and safe environment for one of the many animals awaiting forever homes.
