‘General Hospital’ News: ‘GH’ Stars Reminisce On 2015 – Bryan Craig, Haley Erin, Kin Shriner And More!

“General Hospital” has had quite a year. This year [2015] has been full of drama, betrayal, and secrets have been revealed. ABC Soaps in Depth asked “GH” actors to dish their favorite scenes of the year. Their answers just might surprise you.

Bryan Craig [Morgan]:  “My favorite scene I did this year was my drunk bipolar material with Maurice Benard (Sonny). I went to a very dark place for those scenes. It was dangerous and exciting.”

Kin Shriner [Scotty]: The stuff that I played with Maura West (Ava) in the jail cell, trying to defend her and telling her, ‘I’ve got the goods. Pay me $5 million and I’ll get you off!’ Suddenly, Scotty was back to working an angle, which we hadn’t seen from him while he was a crusading D.A. Now he’s crossed into another world, which is, ‘What’s in it for me?’ That was fun. I wasn’t sure why I was doing it, but I liked doing it!”

Marc Anthony Samuel [Felix]:  “It’s always the Nurses Ball. I’ve got to be honest. Everybody comes in that you don’t get to see on the show a lot, including myself, and we all get to hang out, work and catch up with each other and see what we’re going to be doing in the context of the script. It’s always nice to see people like Lynn Herring(Lucy) and see everyone showcase their talents. It’s just a lot of fun. Also, I like anytime I get to work with Teresa Castillo (Sabrina), because she and I have a tight connection. Whether the scene is sad, intense or funny, it’s always fun.”

Hayley Erin[Kiki]: “I have to say throwing the shot in Maura West’s (Ava) face. I love Maura, and she’s such a good sport. We were definitely laughing before and after, but during the scene, we were both super into it. She’s the best at being able to be fun, and then she can turn it on, right away. It’s awesome.”

Robert Palmer Watkins [Dillon]: “I enjoyed the stuff where Dillon was filming the movie with Maxie, but kept seeing Lulu. It was an interesting scene to shoot. We’d have to pause recording, and Lulu would jump in. There were a lot of technical maneuvers they had to go into getting those shots. I also enjoyed working with Scott Cooper Ryan (Andy). He had great comedic timing. It was fun to play off of him.”

Jeffrey Vincent Parise [Carlos]:  “My favorite scene of 2015 was when Carlos haunted Anna. I felt like it exposed a whole other level for both Finola Hughes (Anna) and myself. I explored the much darker side of Carlos. And when Teresa Castillo(Sabrina) came into the room, I watched in wonder as Finola juggled two planes of reality, dealing with Carlos and Sabrina at the same time.”
