General Hospital (GH) Spoilers Friday, September 25: Michael Strong-Arms Ric – Carly’s Big Move – Ava Pays For Paul’s Help

Friday’s GH has some intense interaction between Sam and Jake. Don’t miss a moment and enjoy these ‘General Hospital’ spoilers to get you excited for the September 25th show. First off, who’s noticed that Michael Quartermaine [Chad Duell] is going dark physically and metaphorically? Michael is in black slacks and a black button down today and looks like a Sonny Corinthos [Maurice Benard) mini-me. That does not bode well for Ric Lansing [Rick Hearst] who comes to the hospital to try again to throw his weight around.

Ric wants to see Sonny and claims he has business to discuss. Michael tells Ric he can’t see his brother and will have to talk syndicate business to him since he’s now in charge. Ric pushes back and tries the “I’m the consigliore” tactic that will fall on deaf ears. Michael will strong arm Ric and show that he’s a true Corinthos today. It’s going to be scary to watch.

Carly Corinthos [Laura Wright] also needs to talk to Sonny but it’s news she doesn’t want to share with him in his weakened condition. Carly has to tell Sonny that Ava Jerome [Maura West] won custody of baby Avery and that he’s losing his daughter again. Carly doesn’t want to devastate Sonny this way but what else can she do? Look for Carly to make a big move today.

Also at the hospital, Patrick Drake [Jason Thompson] confides in Liz Webber [Rebecca Herbst] that he proposed to Sam Morgan [Kelly Monaco] and didn’t get a yes. Patrick tells her he thinks he’s more committed to the relationship than Sam and worries she’ll break his heart. Liz tells him that Sam does love him and will come around.

Liz is very invested in Patrick and Sam getting engaged and married to assuage her guilt over keeping Jake Doe [Billy Miller] from his wife and family. Liz will be upset when she hears that Jake was with Sam at their wedding location – Noodle Buddha – on their anniversary and will worry that Jake will recover memories that will take him away from her.

Sam is at the place she and Jason got married mooning over her phoenix and dragon figurines. Jake shows up to pick up take out for the Corinthos family, but we know fate – and not a yearning for fried won tons – led Jake to Noodle Buddha on this important date. Sam’s little figures and being with her on their anniversary sparks a memory in Jake that will jolt him significantly.

Alexis Davis [Nancy Lee Grahn] reassures Julian Jerome [William deVry] that she’s got a handle on sorting things out for him legally and that the Corinthos family will come to their senses soon and realize he’s not the shooter. Alexis is putting a lot of misplaced faith in Paul Hornsby [Richard Burgi] with no idea she was dealing with the devil himself when she talked to the new Port Charles DA.

Paul finds Ava on the docks – she’s pacing out the 24 hour waiting period until she gets her daughter back. Paul wants her to do something dangerous as head of the revived Jerome syndicate that Ava doesn’t want to do. Since Paul has all the power and rubber stamped her custody bid, Ava is in a corner and has no choice but to carry out the outrageous act Paul demanded.
