‘General Hospital’ (GH) RUMORS: Ava Gets Away With Killing Connie – Fights Sonny For Custody Of Avery?

“General Hospital” rumors are spinning out of control, and it looks like Ava (Maura West) could get away with killing Connie (Kelly Sullivan). If that happens, Sonny (Maurice Benard) and Ava could end up in a custody showdown, duking it out for custody of the sweet baby, Avery. If Ava and Connie went to court, it would be anyone’s game, which would win custody.

Ava killed Connie, there is no denying that. She told multiple people of her deed after the recording was discovered. She was arrested and went to prison to await trial. She ended up in transport one day, and the vehicle crashed. She stood toe-to-toe with Sonny, and she fell over the bridge. She was presumed dead; however, she survived. Dr. Silas Clay (Michael Easton) found her and nursed her back to health. While he was helping her recover, he discovered she had cancer. Ava thought she would die, but she beat the odds.

When she was thought to be dead, they ran a DNA test on her daughter, Avery. The test ‘proved’ that Sonny was her father. Here’s where it gets tricky; Dr. Clay performed the test so it is possible that it was not 100% accurate. Fans believe that Morgan (Bryan Craig) is Avery’s father, and he has been robbed of raising his child.

Morgan, for whatever reason, loves Ava. He can’t imagine life without her, even if it ruins his relationship with Ava’s daughter and his girlfriend, Kiki (Hayley Erin). Morgan broke it off with Ava in jail on Friday, and he believes that Ava is in the past. The past really is never in the past, is it? Kiki knows all about the torrid affair and dumps his cheating behind, thanks to Franco (Roger Howarth) telling her everything he knew. Now she is more than ever convinced he probably killed her father, Dr. Clay- a crime he is innocent of.

Let’s assume that Ava finds a way out of murder charges. Is it possible she would have a claim for custody of Avery? Is it possible that Avery is really Morgan’s and she had Silas’s fake the paternity? Of course, it is all possible- after all, this is a soap. Fans are sure about one thing; it looks like we will have a major custody showdown soon- Ava vs. Sonny, and it is anyone’s guess, which is the right parent to raise Avery.
