November 11 is Veteran’s day, and CBS took this time to thank one soap stud for his service in the military. CBS posted a picture of Scott Elrod [Joe Clark, Y&R] and thanked him for his six years of service in the military. The caption read, “As if playing certified heartthrob Joe Clark on The Young & The Restless wasn’t enough; Scott Elrod also used his smarts to serve his country. He spent six years protecting the skies with the U.S. Air Force, and we thank him for it!”
Christian LeBlanc [Michael, Y&R] posted a picture of his father in remembrance of Veteran’s day and tribute to him. He posted a 1950’s picture with the caption, “Thank you, DAD! Major Victor Andre Le Blanc. 1925-2014. Dad’s enlistment Photo from July 29,1950, in Korea/Germany/Vietnam. “In the picture, you can tell that Christian looks almost exactly like his father did in the 1950’s
Wally Kurth [Ned, Justin, GH, DAYS] posted a picture to pay tribute to his father. He posted an image of his father in sunglasses. The caption read, “Thanks Dad for surviving Peleliu and Okinawa and being a proud Marine. Thanks to all our veterans today and every day.”
Michelle Stafford [Ex-Phyllis, Nina, Y&R, GH] posted a touching picture of a soldier holding his newborn, giving her a kiss before he gets on an airplane to be shipped to parts unknown. The image had the caption, “May God bless you all…And thank you #VeteransDay.”
Soap Opera Spy would like to take this time to thank you to each one of our veterans, both the ones in service presently and those who have served in the past.
