‘Days of Our Lives’ News: Real Andrews Is Headed to DOOL, Former GH Actor Confirms ‘Days’ Role on Instagram

“Days of Our Lives” has been holding nothing back during the recent reboot. There have certainly been a few cast cuts, but they’ve also been doing plenty of hiring to offset the firing. It seems DOOL is adding another hire to the list. Real Andrews, who is best known for his role as Taggert on “General Hospital,” has snagged a part on “Days.”

There isn’t any news on the character Andrews will be playing or how long he’ll be around, but he promised to share more info soon. For now, Andrews is just happy to reenter the soap world. Andrews used Instagram to get the word out and convey his excitement. In his pic, Andrews can be seen flashing a grin and giving a thumbs up. The accompanying post says, “I am back. Thanks for all your support. Stay tune [sic] for details. Thank you Jesus #soapoperas #daysofourlives #generalhospital #gh #Advocare.”

The AdvoCare hashtag refers to a company Andrews is involved with. Advocare’s site states that they’re committed to building champions “through physical and financial wellness.” Andrews’ Twitter profile also says he’s a motivational speaker and success coach. It sounds like Andrews is the kind of guy who will give his all to make sure he pulls off his role at “Days of Our Lives.” When you combine that with Andrews’ soap experience, DOOL viewers can expect great things.
