‘Days Of Our Lives’ News: DOOL Cast And Alums Celebrates 50 Anniversary, Ken Corday Performs On Drums

“Days of Our Lives” (DOOL) news includes a peak at the 50th anniversary celebration run the current “DOOL” cast and many alums enjoyed. The party was a cruise themed celebration at the Hollywood Palladium Sunday, November 8.

The celebration began with the red carpet walk -Deidre Hall, Alison Sweeney, Nadia Bjorlin, Melissa Archer, Susan Seaforth-Hayes, Bill Hayes, Jen Lilley, Eric Martsolf, Vincent Irizarry, A Martinez, Bryan Dattilo were just a few of the “DOOL” cast and alum who stopped for photos and say hello to the paparazzi and fans.

But the real fun happened inside the Hollywood Palladium! With executive producer Ken Corday on drums many of the cast members joined the band in a rousing rendition of “You Say It’s Your Birthday.” The video was posted on Stephen Nichols Facebook page. Who’s decided to get up on stage and sing? Alison Sweeney, Jen Lilley, Eric Martsolf, Nadia Bjorlin and Peter Reckell really got into the spirit of the evening.

Though everyone was having a great time, Ken Corday seemed to be the one who really let loose! The talented producer is also an accomplished drummer – who knew! When Ken was finished with his jam session he received a round of applause and, it appeared, a standing ovation!

Happy 50th anniversary “Days of Our Lives”! Fans are looking forward to a week of big drama and lots of reunions. The cast and crew certainly got the party started on Sunday night!
