‘Bold And The Beautiful’ Cast Rumors: Katherine Kelly Lang Reveals If Susan Flannery Returning To B&B As Stephanie Forrester

“Bold and the Beautiful” cast rumors have been floating around for months that Susan Flannery could be returning to the CBS soap as the iconic character Stephanie Forrester. In November 2012 Susan’s character Stephanie lost her lengthy battle against cancer and passed away at Big Bear cabin where Brooke Logan was watching over her. Susan Flannery’s character Stephanie had been a crucial part of “Bold and the Beautiful” for twenty years and there has been an obvious void in the cast since she left.

Rumors has been floating around for quite a while that “Bold and the Beautiful” writers planned on resurrecting Stephanie Forrester and bringing her back to life – which really makes no sense. It’s not like she was taken out by a hit man and her body was never found, Stephanie passed away from cancer, how could the writers explain that away?

Another more logical “Bold and the Beautiful” rumors is that Susan Flannery is headed back to B&B for a a brief guest appearance – as the ghost of Stephanie Forrester. That storyline actually makes a lot of sense seeing as how several of Stephanie’s family members have gotten in to pretty huge arguments with the picture of her that hangs in the Forrester Mansion.

Sadly, neither of those spoilers or rumors are true – Katherine Kelly Lang (who plays Brooke Logan) set the record straight in the latest edition of Soap Opera Digest. Lang dished to the magazine that Susan Flannery has absolutely refused to return to the CBS soap opera. The Brooke Logan portrayer explained, “Oh she said no. Everyone wants her to come back but she said no. She seems happy.” Logan went on to say that she just spent some time with her former co-star Flannery not long ago – and retirement has been very good to her.
