‘B&B,’ ‘General Hospital,’ The Young And The Restless,’ And ‘Days Of Our Lives’ Holidays Soap TV Pre-Emption Schedule

The Holidays are almost here, yet again—and Soap Opera Spy has the Holiday pre-emption schedule for your favorite soap operas. In the next two weeks, all four soaps will have a short week, with only a few days being aired due to Christmas and New Year’s celebrations.

Christmas Eve

On December 24, “General Hospital” airs an encore episode. CBS “The Young and the Restless” and B&B” will air brand new episodes. NBC “Days of Our Lives” will also air a new episode.

Christmas

On Christmas day, “General Hospital” will not air due to a network pre-emption CBS “B&B” will air a classic episode [no word on which episode will air] at the regular time. “The Young and the Restless” will air last year [2014] Christmas episode. NBC “Days of Our Lives” will air a brand-new episode.

New Year’s Eve

On New Year’s Eve, “GH” will air an encore episode. ABC hasn’t revealed which episode they will air, yet. CBS will air new episodes of “Y&R” and “B&B.” NBC’s “DOOL” will air a new episode of the soap opera.

New Year’s Day

ABC’s “General Hospital” will not be aired due to a network pre-emption. CBS’s B&B” will air an encore episode; they have not released which episode will air, yet. “The Young and the Restless” will air last year episode [12/31/2014]. In the episode, it showcases the New Year’s party at the Athletic Club. The party brought romance for some people and heartache for others. NBC’s “Days of Our Lives” will not be aired due to a network pre-emption
