David Canary began acting right out of high-school, and started his career in Broadway. He was then drafted into the army, after serving two years for the United States, he resumed his acting career.
Canary’s first television gig was on a night-time soap called “Peyton Place,” alongside Mia Farrow. Canary is most well-known among soap opera fans for his portrayal of Adam Chandler on “All My Children” for over 20 years. David began the role in 1983, and appeared on the daytime drama up until 2011. He also doubled as Stuart Chandler on “AMC,” as well.
According to Canary’s obituary in the Wilton Bulletin, funeral services will be held for immediate family only. A tribute for Canary will be set at a later date, so that his fans can pay their respects.
